From the City of Walnut Creek:
Community Sustainability Action Forum
Civic Park Community Center, Walnut Creek, CA
Thursday, April 30 • 5:30 PM - 7 PM
This forum offers residents a chance to engage with ongoing City sustainability projects and contribute to their implementation locally.
The Sustainability Action Forum provides a space to keep the community of Walnut Creek updated on the City's Sustainability Action Plan related projects while building a network of connection and collaboration between local stakeholders.
During this forum, City staff will give an update on current municipal sustainability projects and any opportunities for involvement from the public. Afterwards, there will be a roundtable period during which attendees can share information on their sustainability projects or events, including Earth Month updates! We hope that through this, there will be more opportunities to collaborate, build a communication network, and find hope together for a greener and more sustainable Walnut Creek.
The upcoming forum will take place on April 30th at the Civic Park Community Center in the Lounge from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Additionally, we will provide light refreshments and time for networking while at the event. We hope that you can join us!
Space is limited for this event, so please RSVP ahead of time to reserve your spot. As always, feel free to reach out to sustainability@walnutcreekca.gov with any questions.
We hope to see you at the Community Sustainability Action Forum!
