Mary Bowerman Fire Interpretive Trail Hike

From Save Mount Diablo:

Get Tickets here

Named after one of the founders of Save Mount Diablo, the exceptional vistas, interesting natural history and wildflowers are found only in the highest reaches of our mountain. Hike: the trail is a flat loop, less than one mile long, encircling the summit of the mountain. The first one third is paved and is ADA accessible up to the Ransome Point overlook. This easy trail offers spectacular views as well as a journey through time. Discover how nature has created and altered this peak. Be sure to bring plenty of water and a snack, and dress in layers. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are recommended. Heavy rain cancels. Restrooms available at the parking lot.
