SIBLEY REGIONAL VOLCANIC PRESERVE (OLD TUNNEL ROAD STAGING AREA): Meet at Sibley Regional Volcanic Preserve’s Old Tunnel Road Staging Area. We start by climbing out of the oaks and willows of Round Top Creek and then circle around the volcanic ridges and basalt quarries of the high ridge. About 4 miles with about 800 feet of elevation gain.

Bring binoculars and a hand lens if you have them available. We will have some to pass out as needed. Please also keep food, water and comfort in mind. Since these walks are in May and June, hats and/or sunscreen are recommended.

Ages 9 and up.

$5 parking fee may apply.
